The American Institute of Wine & Food
Dedicated to understanding and celebrating the pleasures, benefits and traditions of the table!
The Wichita Chapter, founded in 1992, is a 501c3 Non-Profit all-volunteer organization run by a skilled and dedicated board of directors with no paid professional staff.
Our charitable contributions to our community’s culinary arts have been vast and diverse providing contributions of over $200,000 to date. We organize monthly events, partnering with various venues providing educational programs relative to food, beverage, and nutrition.
Proceeds from the Midwest Beerfest benefit the following:
- 100% of food competition proceeds benefit the High School culinary arts teams competing.
- USD 259 Career Pathways Culinary Arts programs and students such as ServSafe Certification scholarships, advanced college credit scholarships, and other program support.
